Dubai’s New “A Dubai Invite” Scheme Offers AED 3,000 to Residents Who Bring Friends
Dubai has rolled out a fresh incentive program aimed at reviving tourist arrivals following a dip in visitor confidence tied to recent regional tensions in the Gulf. The initiative, called “A Dubai Invite,” lets UAE residents and citizens aged 18 and above nominate up to three friends or relatives from outside the country to visit the emirate.
In exchange, nominating residents can earn reward packages worth up to AED 3,000 (roughly $816), redeemable for hotel stays and dining offers. To qualify, nominated visitors must hold a valid tourist visa and arrive by air, sea, or road for stays beginning now through October 31.
The scheme, run through Visit Dubai, reflects the emirate’s push to reassure travelers that it remains a safe and welcoming destination, leaning on word-of-mouth from residents who know the city best rather than traditional advertising alone.
